Cardiac Arrest

Heart is a major organ in our body which functions twenty-four hours without taking any break. So,to keep it healthy and pumping we need to exercise and eat right.A negligence on the routine may lead to cardiac arrest.

In today's life people are so busy earning their bread and butter that they have no idea what is going on inside them. With age our responsibilities change, rather say increase. To fulfill the change,we end up working harder at office adding stress to our body and give less time to the physical fitness.Additional to this to save time,of course, we end up eating untimely and unbalanced diet.

Ultimately, lack of that an hour's morning walk and eating junk food, adds cholesterol to our blood. This forms layers of fat in our blood vessels and clog them leading to severe heart diseases. And then one day the heart stops beating.

The patient in cardiac arrest is unconscious, does not have signs of life along with gasping which may persist for several minutes after its onset. The patient should be immediately taken to the hospital and to the doctors. In spite of the doctors' efforts and our prayers that member of our family may or die. However, the ending is not in our hands but the starting is totally ours.

"Prevention is better than cure" implies to this nightmare too.So, the clock is alarming and it's time for us to wake up, put on that comfortable jogger's shoe and hit the road.Eat healthy, stay fit and love your life.
